Maikko  

Presentation
Maikko is a musician and audiovisual performer who has been developing his practice in electronic music around such issues as minimal approach, relationship with visuals and improvisation. He is co-founder and active member in Otolab, an audiovisual collective laboratory in Milan (Italy). Otolab was founded in 2001 and has since been active in Italy and abroad with interactive audiovisual installations, dj/vj gigs, livemedia audiovisual performances and at seminars and panels. Maikko is also founding member of Newtone2060, a Milan-based electroacoustic improvisation trio with drummer Cristiano Calcagnile and turntablist MM.
